Home & School Association (HSA)
The Alfred Vail Home & School Association (HSA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization led by Alfred Vail parents and administrators devoted to enriching the educational success of our children and wellbeing of the AV Community.
Mission: To promote activities to enhance school spirit and a sense of community through fundraising, honoring faculty, sponsoring parent education forums, supporting community outreach activities and providing volunteer support as needed.

Here are examples of what the HSA does throughout the school year:
*Research and fund cultural arts and assemblies
*Host engaging family activities
*Organize meetings for all to attend
*Beautify grounds with seasonal landscaping
*Maintain a current School Directory
*Manage Spirit Wear sales and inventory
*Design and produce 2nd Grade Yearbook
*Provide electronic newsletters, website and registration with translation into many languages
*Support Faculty & Staff / Luncheon, Stock the Lounge, Teacher Appreciation Week
*Recruit and manage Volunteer Opportunities / Book Sale, Field Day, Walk-a-thon, Author Day, etc.
*Decorate for special events
We work in conjunction with Sussex Avenue HSA and other schools in the Morris School District to foster a positive and inclusive community for all of our Vikings and the surrounding community.
