Fundraising

As a nonprofit organization, the AV HSA relies on philanthropic contributions to achieve our mission. With the funding from fundraising events and through personal donations, we are able to provide enrichment programming, enhancements in technology, décor for special events, family activities and materials that are not included the district-approved budget.

There are several ways you can support the AV HSA:

Direct donation
Make a tax-deductible gift online.

Support a Fundraising Event
The HSA hosts several fundraising events and initiatives throughout the year such as:

• Walk-a-thon
• Chef's Night Out
• Fitness Fundraisers
• Gertrude Hawk Chocolate Fundraiser
• Spirit Wear sales
• Family Photo Sessions
• Book Sale

By participating in one or more of these initiatives, you are directly supporting the AV HSA.

Corporate Matching
Check to see if your company offers a matching gift program. If so, you could be doubling or even tripling your donation! Make a donation to the AVHSA, fill out a matching gift request and submit to your company’s HR department. If the donation and nonprofit meet the company’s guidelines, the company matches the donation to the nonprofit for the same amount.
